Dark, a little brooding, deliberately offbeat. 200 GSM combed cotton, regular fit, art drawn in-house and by the artists we work with.

Dark T-Shirts

This is the corner of the wardrobe that runs a few shades darker. Our alternative t shirts pair heavyweight, premium combed cotton with original artwork — goth-leaning line work, occult-tinged illustration, and the kind of quiet, confident weirdness that reads as design, not costume. No flat clip-art, no recycled stock: most of our alt graphic tees are drawn in-house, with some from the partner artists we work with — including a few legendary names — and every one lands on a blank that earns the print.

The garment first: weight, cut and a print that lasts

A dark tee only works if the shirt underneath it does. We build on a mid-to-heavyweight combed cotton with an honest, structured hand — a slightly boxed shoulder and a straight, modern body that sits well under a jacket or on its own. The fabric takes deep blacks and saturated colour without going chalky, and the artwork is set to hold its edges through repeated washes, so the print fades on your terms, not the machine's. That durability is the whole point of paying attention to the blank: alternative t-shirts you reach for in year three, not just week three.

Sub-genres: goth, occult, horror and quiet menace

"Alternative" is a wide church, so the range spans it. There's classic goth and witchy iconography, occult symbology with a restrained hand, and a darker-humour streak that broods more than it shouts — think Dead Inside deadpan or the watchful stare of He Sees You. If your taste tips fully into the macabre, our horror t-shirts push the creature-feature side harder, and the unmistakable Steven Rhodes collection delivers vintage-creepy alt shirt designs with a wink. It's edgy, never gross-out — confident dark, not shock for its own sake.

Men's and women's: one design, every fit

Alt graphic tees shouldn't be gendered by default, so each design runs across a unisex cut that men and women both wear straight, plus relaxed and oversized tees for anyone who wants more drape and a heavier streetwear silhouette. Size down for a fitted look or up for that lived-in, thrown-on weight. The alternative tee shirts here are drawn to look right on a range of bodies — the art holds whether you're styling it tucked, cropped at the hem, or layered under flannel and chains.

Gifts for the alternative type

Shopping for someone whose closet is mostly black? Alternative t shirts are the rare safe bet — specific enough to feel personal, broad enough to actually land. A demon-cat owner gets Caring for Your Demon Cat; the friend who runs on espresso and existential dread gets a coffee-worship piece; the one who's permanently unimpressed gets the deadpan slogans. They read like an inside joke and wear like a staple, which is exactly what makes them stick around in the rotation.

Built around the art

Everything traces back to the drawing. Our artists treat each alt t shirt as a design object first — composition, line weight, how the black sits against the fabric — then we put it on cotton worth wearing. If you want to see the wider catalogue of original prints beyond the dark stuff, the full graphic tees range carries the same standard: real artwork, real blanks, alternative graphic tees that look like someone meant them.
