Custom printing FAQ
What's the minimum order?
There isn't one. Under about 20 pieces, the online customiser is quicker: pick a blank, drop in your artwork and choose sizes per person. For bigger runs, send a brief and we quote it. Mix sizes and colours within a run, and reorder the same artwork in any quantity.
How fast can you turn it around?
Standard runs print in 3–5 business days after you approve the mockup, at our US centre, stock permitting, then ship from the US. 1–2 days express for urgent runs (surcharge applies). Need a hard deadline? Tell us in the brief and we'll confirm before you commit.
Can you design our merch for us?
Yes. Simple design (logo updates, layout tweaks, clear brief) from $350–$500. Original artwork (urgent / minimal brief / unique work) from $500–$1000. Free at 100+ units per order.
What products can you print on?
Tees, hoodies, crews, baby and kids tees, totes and mugs, plus polos, long sleeves, tanks and caps. Something else? Ask, and we'll source it and print it.
Can you print and ship orders for my brand?
Yes. If you sell merch online, we print and ship each order as it comes in, white-labelled, from the production centre nearest your customer. Each order ships within 2–3 business days, with no minimums. It works best from 50 orders a month. Tell us about your store in the quote form and we'll set it up with you.
Can you do white-label fulfilment?
Yes. Neck relabelling ($1.50/item), individual garment bags ($0.25/item), branded mailers ($0.30/order), and your own swing tags (free to attach) — all available as add-ons. Your customer never sees Threadheads branding unless you want them to.
What payment terms do you offer?
Prepayment on the first order. Net-30 available for approved accounts from order two onwards. Invoices in US dollars, with a proper tax invoice for every job.
Can I get samples before committing?
Yes — get in touch for sample pricing. We'll send a tee in your blank choice + colour so you can feel the fabric, check the fit and approve the print quality before you commit to the run.
Do you ship overseas?
Yes. US runs print and ship from our US centre, usually 3–6 business days to your door. We ship worldwide; runs for Australia or Europe print at the centre nearest the customer, so nothing crosses an ocean unless it has to.
What file format do you need?
Print-ready 300dpi PNG is ideal. If you've got a logo file (AI, EPS, PDF) we can prep it. If you've just got an idea and a reference image, our design service takes it from there.
Will I see a mockup before paying?
Always. Mockup approval is built into step 2 of every job — we'll send you a digital proof showing placement, colours, and scale on your chosen garment before the press runs.

If your brand, band, club or school sells merch online, we print and ship each order as it comes in, under your name. There's no stock to buy and no minimums. It works best from 50 orders a month.
One order at a time
Each sale prints and ships within 2–3 business days. You never hold stock or guess sizes.
Your label, our press
We can relabel the neck, add your packing slip and ship in your branded mailer, each priced as an add-on. The customer sees your brand, not ours.
